Getting started

1. Scan an algebra problem

Open the app, tap the camera button, and take a clear photo of any algebra question — an equation to solve, a system of equations, an expression to factor, a quadratic, or a word problem. The AI reads the problem, works it the way a good teacher would, and returns a step-by-step solution within seconds.

Tips for best results:

• Make sure the full problem (and any given values) is in frame
• Avoid heavy shadows and glare
• For exponents and fractions, crop tightly so they're legible
• If the OCR misreads something, fix it on the editable problem card before solving
• For multi-part problems, scan and solve one part at a time

2. Work through the Study course

Beyond the scanner, the app teaches a full algebra curriculum: 8 units, 40 topics, from the foundations of algebra and linear equations through functions, systems, polynomials, quadratics, rational & radical expressions, and exponential & logarithmic functions. Each topic includes a clear explanation with worked examples and a quiz.

3. Ask the AI tutor

Stuck on a concept? Chat with an algebra tutor in plain language — "How do I factor this trinomial?", "Why does the quadratic formula work?", "What's the difference between a function and a relation?". The tutor stays on algebra and remembers the problem you scanned.
